Hialeah Police are investigating after a body was found floating in a lake at 775 West 60th Street. Officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of the discovery. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or the cause of death, according to NBC Miami.
Residents told CiberCuba News that the body may be connected to a police pursuit earlier in the week. According to witnesses, a suspect fled from officers, ran between nearby homes, and may have entered the lake during the incident. The individual was not located at the time.
