Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash Claims Driver’s Life on Don Shula Expressway in Miami-Dade

A tragic scene unfolded on the Don Shula Expressway last night as a driver was killed after being ejected from their vehicle in a crash, as reported by CBS News Miami. The Florida Highway Patrol has confirmed they are to actively investigate the incident which took place northbound on the expressway, near the Snapper Creek Expressway intersection.

According to the FHP’s statement, an Infinity sedan was involved in a single-vehicle accident, ultimately striking a guardrail. The impact was severe enough to eject the driver from the vehicle, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle itself, after the collision, was reported to have caught on fire, adding further tragedy to the already fatal outcome.
