Miami, Florida – An unusually cold morning is settling over South Florida, bringing brisk conditions and early travel concerns for drivers near Miami, especially across inland and elevated roadways. While snow and ice are not an issue, the sharp drop in temperatures is creating hazards for those unaccustomed to cold-weather driving and early-morning exposure.
According to the National Weather Service in Miami, a Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect through mid-morning for inland Palm Beach County and areas surrounding Lake Okeechobee, including parts of Collier, Hendry, and Glades counties.
