Teen shot during drive-by in West Kendall. Deputies search for shooter

A drive-by shooting in West Kendall left one boy injured and another forced to try to save his friend’s life on Wednesday afternoon, Miami-Dade deputies say. Authorities are hunting for those responsible.

Just after 4:30 p.m., the 15-year-old and 16-year-old boys were walking near Southwest 80th Street and 152nd Avenue when a vehicle got in their way and “hindered” them, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Detective Samantha Choon said.
