PALMETTO BAY, Fla. — A Palmetto Bay man was ordered held without bond on Wednesday after being accused in a vicious gas station attack in the village that left another man hospitalized for nearly a week, jail records show.
Dane Guthrie, 39, is also accused of stealing the victim’s wallet while he was unconscious and burglarizing his vehicle.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the attack happened at around 4 p.m. on Feb. 6 at the 7-Eleven at 15199 S. Dixie Highway. Guthrie lives about a quarter-mile southeast of the gas station, according to his arrest report…
