The famous Fuku chicken sandwich made its debut as a secret menu item at chef and restaurateur David Chang’s Momofuku Noodle Bar in New York City. It was so popular with diners it ended up with its own restaurant brand in sports venues across the country, Yankee Stadium, Madison Square Garden, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and South Florida’s own Hard Rock Stadium among them.
Now, it’s coming to Coral Gables as a standalone restaurant.
This is the first South Florida standalone location for Fuku, and Chang said he hopes to lure new converts as well as long-time fans of the brand…
