Brickell regulars who are tired of shouting over bottle-service playlists might have a new refuge on the horizon. Pink Gorilla Kava, an alcohol-free hangout from restaurateur Giancarlo Rodriguez, is slated to open at 340 West Flagler Street in downtown Miami by April 2026. The spot will pour specialty coffee by day, then flip into a kava lounge at night, positioning itself as a low-key alternative to the neighborhood’s club-heavy scene. Rodriguez says the design is meant to feel approachable for both longtime kava fans and first-timers who just want somewhere to unwind without a bar tab.
