Beloved Beverly Hills Café Reborn in Hialeah as Hills Cafe

When the Beverly Hills Café closed its Miami Lakes location in July 2022 after 43 years in business, locals mourned. The restaurant was famous for its loaded salads, large burgers, and warm, honey-yeast rolls served fresh out of the oven. Now, that legacy has a new home in Hialeah.

Hills Cafe officially opened its doors at 7380 W. 20th Ave. in November 2025. The project is led by Hillary Fayth, a former employee who spent 21 years working at the original institution. For Fayth, the revival is a tribute to a place that served as more than just a restaurant.

“Beverly Hills Café has been around since 1978,” Fayth told What Now last year. “My mom was a waitress there, and my dad was a customer at the bar; that was how they met. Then, fast forward 25 years, and I was working there. I started in 2001, and I was there for 23 years. It was like the Cheers of our community, where everybody knew your name.”

A Menu Built on Nostalgia

The new 1,200-square-foot space is designed to feel like a sister concept to the original outpost, blending classic menu dishes with a few modern updates. The menu reads like a greatest-hits collection for anyone who frequented the Miami Lakes original (or one of the ten other locations they had around Florida during the height of their popularity)…
