MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A 52-year-old man was arrested over the weekend in connection with a burglary in west Miami-Dade, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
According to an arrest report obtained Monday by Local 10 News, Pedro Luis Diaz-Castro, of Miami, was arrested Sunday on charges of burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, damaging a phone/power wire during a burglary, grand theft, criminal mischief and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Deputies said Diaz-Castro and another person jumped over a security gate outside the home before entering the property, opening the electrical panel and cutting off the power, causing the home’s security alarm and cameras to stop working…
