After 55 years, this 24-hour restaurant is closed on Biscayne Boulevard in Miami

After 55 years, Miami’s building craze has finally caught up with Denny’s: The 24-hour restaurant at 3600 Biscayne Blvd. is now permanently closed to make way for redevelopment.

According to the Instagram account @wilsonews2026, which follows local Miami news, the restaurant closed on March 29, letting customers know via a notice taped to the door.

Located just off I-95 and 36th Street, the restaurant is situated between Miami’s upscale Design District and the Edgewater neighborhood, an area that is ripe for change. It’s a spot that has just absorbed the loss of a neighborhood favorite: Danny Serfer’s beloved seafood restaurant Mignonette, known for its oysters and relaxed atmosphere, which opened in 2014 and closed on March 29.
