MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A clerk for the Miami-Dade County Office of the Tax Collector was arrested Thursday after he issued multiple temporary driving permits to people in exchange for money, authorities said.
According to an arrest report from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, a supervisor at the tax collector’s office notified investigators about the illegal activity on March 25.
