A 19-year-old man was rushed to Jackson Memorial’s Ryder Trauma Center on Monday morning after a shooting rattled Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood. The gunfire broke out just after 10:45 a.m. near Northwest 25th Avenue and 38th Street, according to authorities, and the victim was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
Video from Sky 10 showed officers flooding the industrial stretch of Allapattah, with crime-scene tape blocking off parts of the area. Miami Fire Rescue told reporters that medics transported the man to Jackson Memorial’s Ryder Trauma Center in “serious but stable” condition. Recent Violence in the Neighborhood
The shooting lands in the middle of a rough stretch for Allapattah.
