Florida Man Falls Asleep at a Green Light, Gives Cops a Fake Name, and Still Had a Suspended License Because Of Course He Did

A Miami man managed to rack up multiple bad decisions in one very early Sunday morning in Wildwood, Florida, and the story only gets better the further you read.

At around 5 a.m., a Wildwood Police officer was dispatched to the intersection of U.S. 301 and State Road 44 after drivers reported something unusual: a car sitting completely still in the middle of the intersection while traffic signals cycled through green, yellow, and red repeatedly. No movement. No honking response. Nothing. Just a car parked where a car absolutely should not be parked.

When the officer arrived and approached the vehicle, the reason for the traffic jam became immediately clear. The driver, later identified as 26-year-old Daniel Truque Valencia of Miami, was fast asleep behind the wheel. His passenger was also sound asleep. Whatever the evening had involved, it had apparently worn both of them out completely…
