GERMANTOWN, Wis. – Drivers in Washington County should prepare for a closure at WIS 145 and County G as construction begins on a new roundabout in Germantown.
Governor Tony Evers has approved a $1.7 million safety improvement project at the intersection of WIS 145 and County G, also known as Division Road, in the village of Germantown. Construction is scheduled to begin June 10, with Musson Brothers, Inc. serving as the prime contractor, according to the project announcement.
The work includes construction of a roundabout, along with new lighting, signs and pavement markings. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the project is part of a Highway Safety Improvement Program effort at the intersection.
