MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WFRV) — On the morning of June 12, 2026, Milwaukee police officers were involved in a shooting that resulted in the death of a suspect.

Milwaukee Police Department Officers responded to a call of an individual using a gun to threaten and rob the caller around 11 a.m, according to the Police Department’s press release.
Upon arriving at the scene, the suspect told the officers to shoot him as he held a revolver to his own head while threatening to shoot said officers. He fled on foot into a nearby apartment building, where officers heard a firearm discharged.
Once they found the suspect, officers repeatedly ordered him to drop the revolver, resulting in an officer firing their gun. No one was struck, and it led to an hour of negotiations between the two parties…
