The entire area is now under an Extreme Heat Warning from Monday afternoon until early Tuesday evening. Heat indices will reach 105 degrees during the day (or higher). Even at night, it’ll be oppressive with heat indices near 80 degrees! Make sure to limit your time outside and stay hydrated. This includes the pets too. The upcoming heat wave looks to last into the holiday weekend when there appears to be some relief with scattered storms. Stay tuned to CBS 58 for the latest weather updates.
