When a stolen car rolled into Wauwatosa on Tuesday, neighbors did not just watch from the window. Police say quick 911 calls and detailed tips from residents helped officers corner the vehicle and arrest three people suspected of stealing it.
According to the department, officers boxed in the stolen car right where it was found rather than risking a high-speed chase through the neighborhood. Two people were taken into custody at the scene, and a K9 team tracked down a third suspect hiding nearby.
