Milwaukee police took five juveniles into custody early Wednesday during an investigation that started with a report of someone with a weapon. Two of the five are just 12 years old. The other three are 14, all of them boys, according to police. Officers also recovered a stolen car during the investigation. No charges have been filed yet.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, it began around 5:15 a.m. near 82nd Street and West Brown Deer Road. Officers had responded to a report of a subject with a weapon. During the investigation that followed, they recovered a stolen vehicle and took the five juveniles into custody after a brief foot chase. Cell phone video obtained by WISN captured part of the chase.
Beyond that info, police have kept this case pretty tight to their chests. They haven’t clarified what role, if any, each juvenile is accused of playing, or whether a weapon was found.
