While most of southeast Wisconsin has dried out with a mix of sun and clouds after a round of early morning downpours, some of our northwest counties are staying wet. Fond du Lac County has seen consistent rain for a few hours and Dodge County has seen some scattered showers. Some storms moving in from Richland Center and Baraboo have looked strong with heavy rain and lightning but they have been weakening as they move our way. The best chance for storms the rest of the morning into the early afternoon will be in these NW counties like Fond du Lac and Dodge. The rest of southeast Wisconsin, including most of the Milwaukee metro, should stay dry until Thursday evening.

Temperatures are still a little in question for the rest of the day, and so far have struggled to warm too much after the early morning rain cooled temps down. But for now, the Extreme Heat Warning remains in place until 10 PM for all of southeast Wisconsin. I would not be surprised if some NW counties were taken out of the warning where the rain and clouds are keeping temps cooler. Those that see dry time through the afternoon with sunshine could still warm close to 90 with feels like temps in the low 100s.
