MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Police are investigating after a pickup truck left the highway and crashed into a marshy area below an overpass near the Hale Interchange early Friday morning.
The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. on Interstate 43 northbound near the interchange, where the truck apparently went off the overpass and landed in the marsh beneath the freeway.
Scanner audio indicated the vehicle had gone over the median wall before coming to rest below the highway…
