People for Bikes has issued its new City Rankings (https://cityratings.peopleforbikes.org/), and Shorewood continues to rank high.
In its data-driven rankings of best communities in which to live if you bike, Shorewood ranked 2nd in Wisconsin (up from 4th last year), and 13th in the United States. Out of 3,019 U.S. communities ranked, Shorewood ranked in the top 1%. In contrast, Milwaukee ranked 236th in the U.S., and Madison ranked 352nd.
In Wisconsin, only tiny Washburn in Bayfield County was ranked higher than Shorewood. Shorewood did not receive a perfect score (86 out of 100, compared to Washburn’s score of 98)…
