Two Milwaukee fugitives remain at large nearly a year after authorities say they lured an 18-year-old into an alley with the promise of an easy robbery, then shot him; he was pronounced dead at a hospital, and the suspects made off with his handgun. U.S. Marshals say they still do not know where Damarius Twitty-Montgomery, who also goes by “Tweety,” and Charles Steward, known as “Chuck,” are hiding, and both men are wanted on charges tied to the September 26, 2025 killing of Bryan Jamison.
According to FOX6 News Milwaukee, Twitty-Montgomery and Steward allegedly convinced Jamison and a group that included his twin brother that they were all going to rob a drug dealer together near 38th Street and Keefe Avenue. Instead, court documents show the real target was Jamison’s own Glock 26 handgun, which was missing from the scene after the shooting, as first reported by Bearing Arms. Surveillance video reviewed by investigators reportedly shows the two suspects shooting at Jamison and Jamison shooting back before he was rushed to a Milwaukee hospital, where he later died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Jamison’s twin brother was inside a vehicle nearby when the gunfire broke out, hearing what he described as 10 to 15 shots ring out in the alley. He ran to his brother, pressed his own sweater against the wounds to try to stop the bleeding, and called 911 — a harrowing account detailed in Bearing Arms’ reporting on the case.

Milwaukee County prosecutors have charged Twitty-Montgomery and Steward with first-degree reckless homicide and attempted armed robbery, according to CBS 58.
