Union members invite all to Milwaukee’s Laborfest

Milwaukee’s Laborfest is open to the public Monday, with organizers welcoming everyone — union members and non-union workers alike — to celebrate Labor Day and reflect on the history of the American labor movement.

The annual parade kicks off at 11 a.m. at Zeidler Union Square. The roughly mile-long route ends at the Summerfest grounds, where the festival continues with entertainment, a classic car show, and activities for children.

Free parking is available at the Summerfest grounds in Lots H and P. A shuttle is available to take attendees to the parade starting area until 10:30 a.m., but riders will need to find their own way back to their vehicles after the parade…
