Milwaukee committee backs ordinance aimed at cracking down on illegal fireworks

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee property owners and occupants could face citations for knowingly allowing illegal fireworks on their property under an ordinance moving forward at City Hall.

The Common Council’s Public Safety and Health Committee recommended approval of the proposal from Alderman Peter Burgelis. It now heads to the full Common Council for a vote October 13.
