Convicted felon caught with gun and drugs in Wisconsin

CUDAHY, Wis. (WFRV) – A 30-year-old man is now in custody after he was found to be in possession of a stolen handgun and narcotic drugs while also being a convicted felon.

According to a release from the Cudahy Police Department, officers responded just before 1:pp p.m. on October 2 to the area of South Kinnickinnic Avenue at East Lunham Avenue for reports of suspicious activity.

Police say a caller reported a man walking in the area who had recently committed a crime against them and was believed to be armed with a gun.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with the man in question and detained him for further investigation, leading police to find out the 30-year-old Cudahy resident was a convicted felon and was in possession of a stolen handgun…
