GREENFIELD, Wis. — Aurora Health Care surprised a Brookfield, Wis., cancer survivor with tickets to Game 1 of the World Series at American Family Field, giving her a chance to see the Milwaukee Brewers play on baseball’s biggest stage.
Lyndsy Di Nardo was at the Aurora Health Center in Greenfield, Wis., on Thursday afternoon, where she expected to meet other breast cancer survivors. Instead, her surgeon, Dr. Nicole Zaremba, told her she would receive tickets for herself and three family members.
“We remember you telling us the story of how tickets to one of the games with the Dodgers and didn’t actually get to go because it was post-op and you were recovering, so we are going to surprise with tickets to the game tomorrow night,” Zaremba said…
