MILWAUKEE – A former Milwaukee County jail worker was sentenced to 18 months probation in connection to the death of a “Most Wanted” inmate back in January 2023. In court Friday, Laquisha Cowser pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor charges, and given her sentence. She still faces a felony charge of misconduct in public office, but that will be dropped if she completes probation.
