Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officers had a busy weekend after two separate traffic stops resulted in significant amounts of drugs removed and repeat offenders in custody. A 30-year-old Milwaukee man, currently out on parole for burglary and auto theft with a pending court appearance on fentanyl charges was taken into custody after K-9 Officer Rip alerted deputies to the presence of drugs. A search during Friday night’s incident revealed a magnetic box hidden in the engine compartment, filled with a large quantity of fentanyl pills. The operator is awaiting charges in the Fond du Lac county Jail.
