While every space can be “for the girls,” there’s something special about leaning into your feminine side and enjoying a space that is catered to girly girls and feminine people.
What does that look like? For me, it means flowery decor, pink and purple hues, and art that features women, with the added bonus of it being very Instagrammable. The menu for such places might have drinks that are bubbly, colorful and on the sweeter side.
For upcoming Galentine’s Day (Feb. 13) or girls night out, here are four girly bars in Milwaukee, in alphabetical order.
Giggly Champagne & Wine Bar
139 E. Kilbourn Ave.
If you’re looking for an elevated girls night, where the plan is to catch up over good drinks, this is the place to go.
Giggly is on the second floor of the Saint Kate Arts Hotel, overlooking East Kilbourn Avenue and North Water Street. The room is filled with sultry red lighting and framed artwork, mostly of women and wine. The jazz music is kept at a low level, making it easy to have a conversation.
