8-Year-Old Girl Saves Herself And Her Two-Year-Old Sister With Quick Thinking During Wisconsin Carjacking

A young girl from Wisconsin has been named a hero after using strategic thinking to help save the lives of her two-year-old sister and herself during a carjacking incident!

According to the New York Post, the incident took place Sunday afternoon February 4th as Charley took a trip to a local car wash located in Oak Creek alongside her father, Adam Jorgenson, and her younger sister, Autumn. Reports read that as Adam stepped out of the vehicle to pick up a cloth before having his car washed, he was distracted by a person walking past who had stopped and asked him for directions.

In a quick glance, he was both shocked and horrified as he witnessed his vehicle occupied with his two small children speeding away.

Charley tells local news that she was frightened and instantly debated between escaping the car or staying to help protect her sister. She says that after thinking of a strategy to help them both escape she arrived at the realization that the vehicle could not operate without the car keys, which her father had in his pocket.
