Southeast Wisconsin weather: Overnight rain, warming back up Monday

Tonight and overnight more showers will move across SE WI. Additionally, areas of patchy fog will create visibility problems, especially near Lake Michigan. Use caution on the roads and be aware visibility could drop quickly. As far as temperatures are concerned, we won’t cool off overnight, we will actually warm up.

By Monday morning, temperatures will be near 60-degrees. Monday afternoon highs will warm into the upper 60s and low 70s. Winds will be breezy again on Monday, from the southwest gusting up to 30 mph. Monday afternoon a few splash and dash showers are likely, even a pop-up thundershower can’t be ruled out. In total, an additional 0.25″ -0.50″ of rain is possible through Monday evening.

Tuesday looks pleasant with highs in the 60s to low 70s with some sun and less wind. However, in the afternoon it looks like a lake breeze will develop, cooling temperatures off.

Wednesday we will look for a few spotty showers, with a better chance for rain and some storms Thursday into Friday.
