Police from across the country coming to Milwaukee to help during RNC

MILWAUKEE – Police departments from across Wisconsin and across the country will be in Milwaukee to assist Milwaukee police during the Republican National Convention. The list provided by Milwaukee police shows that departments from as far away as Florida and Nevada will be here. Other agencies serve cities that have hosted conventions before. Cleveland police and Cleveland MetroPark police will be in Milwaukee, and Cleveland hosted the RNC in 2016. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is sending officers, and Charlotte hosted the RNC in 2020 and the DNC in 2012.
