Rain chances finally back in the forecast!

We have now had eleven days in a row without any rain whatsoever which is the longest dry streak of the year, but that could change later this week when rain chances finally return to the forecast! Going into this week Milwaukee has only seen one day with rain in September and it was a measly 0.02″. The month is running 1.64″ behind on rainfall and the last 30 days are running 2.85″ behind average! We are technically still in a precipitation surplus for the year of 5.49″ but all that rain in spring and early summer doesn’t really help us now.
