Wisconsin breakfast diner George Webb Restaurant was cited for violations in Milwaukee County

George Webb Restaurant, a long-standing 24/7 diner chain offering classic comfort food, including all-day breakfast, recently underwent a re-inspection by the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services. Located at 2935 N Oakland Ave in Milwaukee, this American-style eatery received two violations during its November 1, 2024, follow-up and required another re-inspection.

State records indicated that the inspection revealed one priority foundation violation and one core violation, both of which were repeat violations. The inspector’s note showed that the management of George Webb Restaurant had addressed some infractions from the previous inspection.

However, the lingering issues prompted a mandatory re-inspection for this Milwaukee County establishment.

Of particular issues was the dirty interior of the cappuccino machine, a repeat violation that could potentially affect food quality. Additionally, inspectors noted evidence of flies in the back storage area, another recurring issue that raises hygiene considerations.
