We’re in for another very cold night tonight but a big warm-up up on the way for the end of the week. Lows tonight fall to around 5 degrees lakeside to around zero inland.
There is less wind, so the wind chill won’t be as low as last night. We work our way back up to the 20s tomorrow afternoon. A weak little clipper brings another round of light snow tomorrow night. Less than 1″ of accumulation is expected.
We experience a brief January thaw on Thursday and Friday. Highs on Thursday reach the middle 30s and maybe even 40 on Friday. Don’t get too comfortable with a blast of our coldest temperatures of the season by Sunday.
