Snowfall Report for Saturday 2/8

A system of snow started across the Southern portion of the Northland last night and made its way eastward through the day part. Snow this morning made for very slick roads in the morning but plows have been out and clearing the region all day. As the snow works its way out to Michigan tonight we are still seeing some lake effect snow and light precipitation bands form for the South Shore. Northern Wisconsin can still expect to see less than an inches to fall before the night is through.

  • 02:00 PM 2/8 – 4 SSE Webster – 5.0 inches – Burnett County
  • 11:00 AM 2/8 – 4 NW Minong – 4.0 inches – Washburn County
  • 11:00 AM 2/8 – 2 SW Hinckley – 4.0 inches – Pine County
  • 08:00 AM 2/8 – Trego – 3.5 inches – Washburn County
  • 07:00 AM 2/8 – Sandstone – 3.0 inches – Pine County
  • 07:00 AM 2/8 – 4 WNW Kerrick – 2.8 inches – Pine County
  • 11:15 AM 2/8 – Seeley – 2.6 inches – Sawyer County
  • 06:00 AM 2/8 – 1 SW Hayward – 2.5 inches – Sawyer County
  • 07:00 AM 2/8 – Moose Lake – 2.5 inches – Carlton County
