Milwaukee Braces for Mixed Weather with Sunny Spells Showers and Thunderstorms Ahead

The city of Milwaukee is experiencing a typical spring week, with the National Weather Service predicting a mixed bag of weather conditions ahead. According to the latest forecast updated today, residents should expect mostly cloudy skies in the morning, gradually clearing for a modest high of 52°F. Wind directions are set to shift from a northwest breeze in the morning to a northeast breeze by the afternoon. The transition into the evening will bring increasing clouds and a mild low around 37°F.

Tomorrow looks to offer a break in the gloom with partly sunny skies and a slightly warmer high near 57°F. Looking ahead to tomorrow night, a slim 20 percent chance of showers is forecast, although no significant rainfall is anticipated. By Monday, the weather is expected to take a more turbulent turn, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 p.m., followed by a slight chance of lingering showers amidst partial sunshine. Temperatures are expected to rise significantly, reaching a high near 74°F, as winds pick up, gusting up to 25 mph.

Monday night, however, all tranquility is set aside with showers and a potential thunderstorm in the mix. “Showers and possibly a thunderstorm,” the NWS advises, setting the probability at a noteworthy 80 percent. Of equal note are the projected gusts that could reach as high as 30 mph, making for a blustery end to the day with the low hovering around 59 degrees. Tuesday will continue this pattern but with a reduced chance of showers and thunderstorms, and it is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 69 degrees and gusty winds dialing back somewhat in the afternoon…
