RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – A man and woman from Wisconsin were arrested after leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase while two children were in the back seat, and authorities later discovered a large stash of drugs inside the vehicle.
According to the Racine County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began shortly before 12:15 p.m. on Monday, April 28. A deputy traveling northbound on Interstate 94 near State Highway 20 clocked a vehicle traveling nearly 110 miles per hour. When the deputy attempted to pull the vehicle over, the driver, identified as 27-year-old Micah J. Gonzalez of Milwaukee, sped up and refused to stop.

The pursuit was radioed in, and additional deputies positioned ahead of the vehicle at County Road G successfully deployed a tire deflation device, deflating three of the four tires.
Despite losing air in the tires, Gonzalez continued driving into Milwaukee County, with shredded tires and metal rims scraping the roadway. During the pursuit, deputies observed two adults and two young children, ages 3 and 2, in the vehicle. One of the children appeared to be unsecured…
