MILWAUKEE — The decades-long tradition of Jazz in the Park will return to Milwaukee this summer, but some changes will come with it.
Leaders announced that in the Park will now operate on a biweekly schedule, occurring every other Thursday from June 5 to Sept. 25. The event had previously been held every Thursday. Officials didn’t say why the change was made.
But that’s not all. This year, the namesake will expand upon its sound, offering everything from salsa to soul to indie rock and brass bands. Leaders said they hope this will celebrate the diversity of Milwaukee’s music scene and the surrounding communities…
