Wisconsin’s smallest school district looks to help youth struggling with substance abuse

MUKWONAGO, Wis. — Four school districts in Wisconsin are getting money from the state to develop schools for kids recovering from substance abuse and mental health challenges.

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) awarded Recovery High School Planning Grants worth $75,000 to the Ashland, Beloit, Manitowoc and Norris school districts.
