Southeast Wisconsin Storm Risk: Showers and Thunder Possible in Milwaukee Through Monday Night

Milwaukee, WI – Afternoon drivers in Milwaukee should brace for potential downpours and thunder as storms move into southeast Wisconsin after 4 p.m. Sunday, bringing a 30% chance of showers and lightning.

According to the National Weather Service, storms may continue overnight and into Monday with a 50% chance of precipitation. Daytime highs will reach near 89°F Sunday and 82°F Monday, with winds out of the south shifting northwest by Tuesday.

Localized rain could lead to slick roads on I-43, I-94, and Highway 41. Commuters are urged to allow extra travel time, especially during the Monday morning rush.
