Officer injured after police pursuit near Milwaukee’s northwest side

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A Milwaukee officer is recovering from a non-fatal injury after a police pursuit led to two arrests near Milwaukee’s northwest side.

Around 12:40 p.m. today, Aug. 27, police attempted to stop a reckless vehicle near 29th and W. Villard, but the driver refused and a pursuit began. It ended after the vehicle became disabled and the occupants fled on foot.

The driver of the vehicle, 43-year-old man, and his passenger, a 25-year-old woman, were both arrested…
