MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A Milwaukee man is facing seven charges after a police pursuit ended in a crash at 35th and Vliet on Monday, Aug. 25.
According to a criminal complaint filed Wednesday, Aug. 27, 19-year-old Daveon Starks was driving a stolen Honda Accord without plates when officers attempted a traffic stop near 35th and National. Police said Starks sped into oncoming traffic, leading a 2.5-mile chase before colliding with another vehicle occupied by a pregnant woman and a 4-year-old boy.
