Milwaukee Tool $1M theft, former employee charged

BROOKFIELD, Wis. A Wauwatosa man is now charged with the theft of more than $1 million worth of tools from his former employer, Milwaukee Tool, according to a criminal complaint filed in Waukesha County Circuit Court.

In Court:

Court records show 31-yar-old Mathew Yang is charged with:

  • Theft of movable property greater than $100,000
  • Theft of movable property between $10,000 and $100,000 (seven counts)
  • Theft of movable property between $5,000 and $10,000 (two counts)
  • Computer crimes – modify data
  • Misdemeanor theft (three counts)

Yang posted $50,000 cash bond. He is due back in court for a preliminary hearing on Sept. 8.
