MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman is speaking out about the recent illegal street takeovers in the city. Milwaukee Police said they responded to more than a dozen incidents over the Labor Day weekend.
In all, three people were arrested, six cars were towed, and 26 citations were issued.
“This behavior is unacceptable because beyond just the potential of hurting themselves or spectators there is a lot of noise, destruction of property, streets being torn up, accidents. So, this is a concern from a public safety standpoint, and we take it very seriously,” Norman said…
