MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — The Milwaukee VA Police Department’s Atilla, the smallest working police dog in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, is retiring this month after nine years of service.
The 26.5-pound Jagdterrier has worked alongside Sgt. Christopher Agnew since 2016.
An open house will celebrate his retirement Thursday, Sept. 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Matousek Auditorium at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center. The public is invited, with light refreshments and appearances from other Milwaukee County working dogs expected…
