WAUKESHA, Wis. — A 13-year-old student was arrested after bringing a fake firearm into Butler Middle School in Waukesha on Friday.
According to the Waukesha Police Department, a student alerted staff after seeing what appeared to be a handgun in the 13-year-old’s backpack around 7:40 a.m. on 9/19/25.
