2 men arrested after Wisconsin police chase, drugs and firearm recovered

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WFRV) — Two men were arrested after fleeing Wisconsin police during a drug-related vehicle pursuit last week.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the incident happened Sept. 19 shortly after 5:45 p.m. on the 1400 block of South Muskego Avenue. Officers said they saw people inside a vehicle dealing drugs and attempted a traffic stop.

The driver reversed toward officers, struck a squad car, and then fled. A pursuit followed and ended when the vehicle became disabled on the 1600 block of West Pierce Street.

Police said the 22-year-old driver ran from the scene but was arrested after a short foot chase. A 22-year-old passenger was also taken into custody without further incident.
