MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and it comes as Wisconsin faces a rise in domestic-related homicides, including the killing of a Milwaukee woman allegedly beaten to death with a rock by her daughter.
Police records show 64-year-old Carrie Zettel was found dead Sunday afternoon, Oct. 12, in her backyard. Her daughter, 29-year-old Lauren Spors, is accused of killing her.
