OAK CREEK, Wis. — The mother accused of helping her teen disappear in Oak Creek will serve no prison time.
37-year-old Luisa Asala from Burlington was originally sentenced to 15 years in prison, but the court found that she had completed the sentence with time already served. She was supposed to stand trial on Oct. 20, but changed her plea to guilty for one count of felony interference with child custody.
